Introduction to Pakistan T20 Squad 2024

I keep telling everybody about Pakistan National Cricket team players but sometimes when you look for the outside you can be dispassionate. You don’t have to worry about little personal biases whatever you can look from the outside and be completely free.

So I have done that you have got to have the two maharajas of Pakistan cricket team squad 2024, Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan. Should they play together, should they be opening together that’s a completely different debate that the think tank has to address. But they have got so many runs behind them, they have been around for a long time in Pakistan T20 Team.

So Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan form my side but I’m giving an option to run in the side. The third opener is someone the Cricket World is talking a great deal about. I was in Australia earlier this year and they were talking a lot about him. I have noticed that in T20 cricket he’s come in, he’s got a good strike rate as well, he bowls a couple of overs at the top. Sometimes goes on in BS four which is a killer combination.

The kind that a sag had the combination, not the ability just. Yet so I’m talking about Saim Ayub, everyone is talking about him as being the next Superstar. It doesn’t always happen that way in Pakistan but he is good enough to make that side. So I’ve got Saim Ayub, Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan.

Then at number four in T20 Pakistan players list 2024, he’s a very peculiar player. India knows him a little better than India would like to and that is Fakhar Zaman. He goes up at the top of the order and he chews up balls like it’s a starter, like he is waiting for a main course you’re like a big starter. He comes in at number four as a left-hander and all of a sudden boom boom. He is going left-hander in the middle order, you can’t ask for anyone better than a little injury prone.

I know his mind is in turmoil, wanted to go to the UAE then said no, coming back to Pakistan has spoiled his relationship.

There I hope that is not playing in his mind because people who have done the PSL, have come back and told me that Usman Khan looks a very special player. So when he bats at number three his strike rate is vastly different from when he bats down. So maybe that is the option for Rizwan but then you need a wicket keeping option and there is the solidly built Azam Khan. When he hits the ball, I have Azam Khan in Pakistan Squad for T20 World Cup.

There as well and then the old warhorse Iftikhar Ahmad, Because sometimes in the West Indies or wherever the wickets might be a little slower then you need that off spin option. They don’t have an off spinner in Pakistan and he can go and hit the big ones at the end. So Iftikhar completes my list of seven batters.

Normally you pick eight but in my side I have picked only seven because I see a lot of bowlers who can bat in that side. Certainly Shadab khan can bat in the top six, Imad Wasim can bat at number seven quite comfortably.

So I have given away my next two names, those two spinners and much like India use Kuldeep Yadav. I will not be surprised if Pakistan uses Abrar Ahmed as a wicket taking option in the middle overs. There is a little element of mystery about him. So Abrar Ahmed is my third spinner that completes 10.

Most teams pick four seamers, swing bowlers with Pakistan. I am picking five because that is their strength and some days they might actually be tempted to play all four. Shaheen Afridi walks into the side to the joy of all Pakistan supporters. He is now capable of giving you runs at number eight as well.

When Muhammad Amir and Imad Wasim came back you just thought it’s going to strengthen the side. There are a lot of people who think that Amir should not be playing international cricket again. After what happened all those years ago, my theory has always been my thinking has always been that when. If you serve your punishment then everybody in life should get a second chance. You do not shut doors on human beings especially after they have served their punishment. So I’ve got Muhammad Amir on my side.

The one Pakistan fast bowler that everybody in the Cricket World is talking about Beyond Shaheen Afridi beyond Amir, is Naseem Shah who has got an easy Pace about him and swings the ball. So those four and then Haris Rauf when he comes back from injury sorry those four now when Haris Rauf comes back from injury that leaves one more spot.

There are a few contenders for that, there’s Amir Jamal who was very impressed with when I saw him in Australia. He gives you a few batting options as well. But from whatever little I seen of him, I like the look of Zaman Khan bowling at the end. That is a little issue with Pakistan, sometimes they can go for runs at the end and I just like the Yorkers, he bowls at pace.

But again a lot of you watching in Pakistan you’ve probably got a better opinion than I do. But I just liked the look of Zaman Khan every time I saw him so these are the 15 that I think will do well for T20 world cup 2024 Pakistan Squad.

There is enough batting options in Pakistan T20 Squad 2024 they bat very deep, enough bowling options. If there’s life in the deck four far bowlers, if it’s a little slow two of their batters can both spin it is the kind of balance that everybody looks for in their side.
